Good to know
An emoji is a Unicode character, so it renders differently depending on the operating system and font: the same code point can look quite different on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. Some entries are sequences joined by a zero-width joiner, which older platforms may split into their component symbols. Screen readers announce emoji by their Unicode name, so a decorative emoji in a heading or a link label is read aloud — worth keeping in mind for documentation and interface copy.
