Microsoft Portals

A selection of Microsoft administration portals, organized by task. This is not an exhaustive directory.

About the Microsoft portals directory

Microsoft's administration surface is spread across a large number of separate portals, each with its own address and its own scope. This directory gathers them in one searchable place.

What's in this selection

The Entra and Defender destinations are documented in Microsoft Entra documentation and Microsoft Defender documentation. Documentation evidence confirms their purpose and address, not access to your tenant. Sign-in, licensing and appropriate roles may be required.

Good to know

Portals are consolidated and renamed regularly — several identity and security consoles have moved in recent years — and old addresses usually redirect rather than disappear. Because permissions are granted per service and not per portal, being able to open a console says nothing about what you can change inside it; that still depends on your role assignments.

Submit a portal

Know a Microsoft console that is missing here? Fill this in and a pre-filled GitHub issue opens in a new tab. A pull request is prepared automatically, and every entry is reviewed by hand before it goes live.

HTTPS only, and the address must be on a Microsoft-operated domain.

Reuse an existing category when one fits, or propose a new one.

A free GitHub account is needed to post the suggestion.
